In 1956, watchmakers Albert Wajs and Joseph Ollech ventured into creating their signature brand: Ollech & Wajs Zürich.
By the 1960s, Ollech & Wajs had expanded their collection to include men’s chronographs, diving watches (notably the Caribbean 1000, the first watch to offer 1000m water resistance), military watches favored by American soldiers during the Vietnam War, and pilot’s watches commissioned by the French Air Force.
The brand aslo is also renowned for making high precision chronographs. and this stands true today. Actually all OW watches sold today, chronograph or not, come with movements that are adjusted in 5 positions. This ensures high precision and reliabilty. The same level of detail is applied on all aspects of the watches, so you can feel confident that you are buying a watch that will last for generations.
Today, Ollech & Wajs has embraced its legacy under new management, dedicating itself to crafting high-quality, Swiss-made tool watches with a original design that pay homage to the iconic designs of the 1960s. Emphasizing their Swiss heritage, all OW watches are designed at the Ollech & Wajs Precision A.G. headquarters in Zurich and meticulously assembled in Haute-Sorne, Swiss Jura, ensuring a 90% Swiss origin.
