This is a basic US Army issued field watch from 1975. These were constructed to be maintenance free and highly durable. For example the case does not have springbars. The MIL-W-46374 is disposable it watch, thus it cannot be serviced – just like modern Swatch watches.
This dark olive green Benrus MIL-W-46374 is worn and has a great patina. The markings are still visible at back of the watch. It runs great – keeps the time well and has a good power reserve. It’s fitted with a brand new Nato strap (not original).
