Introducing the Crono GMT Cortina 1956, a significant milestone for echo/neutra and the entire microbrand industry. This timepiece offers exceptional functionality and performance at an affordable price, pushing boundaries and setting new standards in the sector.

With a manual wind and a 62-hour power reserve, the Crono GMT is strictly Swiss Made, like all our models. It features the new Sellita SW532M movement, which combines a three-counter chronograph function with a 12-hour second time zone and a day/night indicator.
This timepiece, designed with a clear vintage appeal, is available in two color variants (black and bronze).

It is built and assembled using the finest materials and production techniques in Switzerland.

CASE AND CROWN
Based on the vintage design of the Cortina 1956 collection, it is made from 316L steel to offer maximum corrosion resistance.The interplay of satin-finished surfaces and polished edges gives the watch a unique and recognizable appeal on the wrist.

The Crono GMT Cortina 1956 is equipped with a generously sized push-down crown to facilitate the manual charging operation, while maintaining pleasing proportions with the case.

It features the new Sellita SW532M movement, and for the first time in the microbrand world, it combines a three-counter chronograph function with a 12-hour second time zone and a day/night indicator positioned at 9 o’clock below the small seconds.

THE CRYSTAL

One of the standout features of the entire Cortina 1956 collection has always been the ultra-domed sapphire crystal, which creates numerous reflections and distortions, giving the watch a truly unique appearance. The new chronograph is also equipped with this distinctive Ultra-domed shaped sapphire, which is highly scratch-resistant.

CERAMIC BEZEL

Another typical feature of the collection is the ceramic bezel with a telemeter scale. This type of scale was originally used to measure the difference between the speed of light and sound. It was particularly used in the military to calculate the distance of enemy fire (time between the flash and the sound) or more simply to measure the distance of a thunderstorm (time between the lightning and the thunder). The individual markers contain SuperLumiNova luminous material, making the scale clearly visible even in the dark.
