Limited to 140 pieces, the traditional manufacturer Hanhart from the Black Forest is focusing on its manufacturing expertise in the stopwatch sector.

HANHART AND STOPWATCHES
When Hanhart produced the first affordable stopwatch in 1924, the watch manufacturer from Gütenbach quickly became the most important German manufacturer and market leader for mechanical and electronic timepieces. Hanhart became a global player within the last century, when the manufacture stopwatches were part of the basic equipment of every referee or race director at all important sporting events and car races.

GEAR WHEEL WITH FLYBACK IN DOUBLE VERSION
The speed control – as the flyback function is also known – has been an important function on racetracks throughout history. The mechanism allows a new time interval to be measured immediately by pressing the reset button: this means that lap times can be measured precisely without interruption.

MANUFACTURE CALIBER OF THE EXTRA CLASS
The chronograph features the first-class AMT5100 M caliber from Sellita’s “Manufacture AMT“ department. The watch controls the chronograph via a control wheel. When fully wound, the stopwatch has a power reserve of at least 10 hours and the wristwatch has a power reserve of at least 58 hours. Both calibers are traditionally wound by hand. They are robust, reliable and a joy for every chronograph fan.

THE RED PUSHER
He tenderly pressed a kiss to her sleeping forehead before quietly leaving the apartment. When he looked at his Hanhart chronograph in the hangar, a smile flitted across his lips: she had painted the pusher with her red nail polish so that he would always think of her and return safely … This is how the anecdote of the striking trademark that has characterized Hanhart since the introduction of the chronographs is told: the red pusher. It was painted to prevent pilots in particular from accidentally resetting the stop time.
