The Ollech & Wajs C-1000 Y – A striking tribute to the first 1000 m dive watch. In 1964 the Ollech & Wajs Precision Caribbean 1000 set the standard by which all other dive watches would be measured with a certified record-shattering depth rating of 1,000m (3,300ft). The single biggest leap forwards in the evolution of the dive watch was thanks partly to the revolutionary 702 mono-block case with its distinctive pointed lugs. The distinctive 39.5 mm case, with its unmistakable abbreviated triangular lugs, (affectionately referred to as ‘Vampire fangs’ by collectors) is pressure-tested to 1,000 meters (3,300 feet). A substantial domed sapphire crystal and screw-down crown, ensure the C-1000 Y’s professional credentials remain uncompromised.
