The Omega Seamaster Chronograph reference 176.007 was introduced in 1971. It’s powered by Omega calibre 1040 – a modified Lemania 1340 movement. The movement was the first automatic chronograph movement to oscillate at 28,800 bph when introduced in 1970. A unique feature of this watch is its central minutes chronograph hand. The eye catching orange colored arrow minutes hand resides under the seconds counter – a setup which makes for swift reading of the elapsed time while the chronograph is activated.
This watch is in great condition and has a fantastic blue reflective dial. It has been fully serviced & cleaned by our watchmaker. I love the subtle patina of this 48 year old watch – please note that the blue dial has a paint chip at 7 o’clock (see pictures). The watch comes with a black nato strap and a blue nato strap.
