Designed with a vintage style and dedicated to the first Olympics Games held in Cortina d’Ampezzo in 1956. In 1956 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, the VII Olympic Winter Games took place – the first Olympic event to be organized in Italy.
Thirty-two nations — the largest number of countries participating in the Winter Olympics until then – competed in the four sports and twenty-four events. It was the first Winter Olympics televised to a multi-national audience.

A unique Manual Chronograph Powered by the Swiss Sellita SW510M elaboré movement to celebrate the new Cortina 1956 collection. Available in several color variants and built and assembled with the best materials and techniques in Switzerland.
THE CASE
Made of 316L Stainless Steel to offer the maximum resistance to corrosion, it has been crafted with an exceptional quality. The contrast between polished and brushed faces gives to the watch a unique appeal on the wrist.
THE NEW “BIG CROWN”
This new version of the Cortina 1956 Chronograph has a new bigger push/pull crown to facilitate the manual charging operation.
THE CRYSTAL
The Cortina 1956 mounts a box shaped Sapphire crystal, with double AR coating inside. Sapphire is one of the hardest materials on Earth. It measures 9 on the Mohs scale (Diamond, which has the highest rating, measures 10). The Sapphire crystal is considered unscratchable.
