The case has a highly robust and streamlined shape, with a black dial, sword-shaped hands, green Super-LumiNova, and an orange second hand with a fluorescent finish. These are the design principles of Fortis pilot’s watches that have been carried over from the first Fortis Flieger, released in 1987, to subsequent models. The Flieger F-41 Automatic, with its 41mm diameter stainless steel case, is a further evolution of these elements established by Fortis more than 30 years ago.

The dial features Fortis newly devised SYNCHROLINE® and Brixtrack® design elements that are common to the series. They have an orange fluorescent finish and the latest Super-LumiNova X1 to ensure high visibility in the dark for reliable and instant time reading. It also has a rotating bezel that displays 12 hours with 24 clicks, making it easy to set a second time zone. This rotating bezel is sloped in a conical shape from the outside of the case toward the dial, making it scratch-resistant. The stainless steel bracelet features a micro-adjustable clasp with a precision sliding system, allowing you to effortlessly adjust the bracelet to your desired size whenever needed.

I features a Swiss automatic movement Cal. UW-30 (38 hours power reserve), 28,800 vph, hours, minutes, seconds, date, bidirectional rotating bezel (12-hour second time zone display: 24 clicks). The minute hand and the Brix on the Brixtrack® are finished with Super-LumiNova X1, which glows blue in the dark, while the orange SYNCHROLINE® and seconds hand on the dial are finished with fluorescent finish (Bell Rack Floor Orange).

SYNCHROLINE®: Orbit adjustment unit
This refers to the orange fluorescent finish line designed at ±5 second positions on the dial. Whenever pilots form a formation, it is of fundamental importance that they all line up precisely. To achieve this, Fortis has newly devised SYNCHROLINE®. Pilots can now align with their teammates within ±5 seconds.

Brixtrack®: instant visibility
The Brix track is a circular track placed around the outer circumference of the dial, and on top of the track is an applied index that represents the time called Brix, which is coated with Super-LumiNova X1. Improves visibility speed, especially in low light conditions.
