Fortis’ Stratoliner series has been contributing to missions in the sky and space since 1962. The Stratoliner S-41, which was newly released in 2022, uses recycled stainless steel for the case as a manufacturer with a focus on sustainability. A chronograph equipped with the caliber WERK17. You can see the movement of the WERK17, which uses a column wheel for its control mechanism, from the back of the watch. The movement has been tested and certified under harsh conditions in the stratosphere by Fortis’ new partnership with the Swedish Space Corporation.
